“Yes, but bruh that day I had no intentions on sleeping with her. I tried to comfort her and then we kissed.” Chance explained. Shaw walked up slowly to Chance and without thinking Shaw punched her in the jaw. Chance hit the floor and grabbed her face. She couldn’t blame Shaw for being angry because she had just betrayed her best friend. “Get your shit and get out.” Shaw yelled. Shanice stood back and watched as phase one of her plan played out. She had driven over to Shaw’s place with the story that she was there to beg Shaw to come back because she knew she had said some harsh things on the phone. Shanice saw that Chance had been drinking so she decided to start putting the moves on Chance. Her plan was to record it and send it to Shaw in her work email, but since she came home early and caught them it made her job easier.

“I am leaving and when I come back Shanice, I want you gone and Chance all of your stuff need to be gone too. I am sick of supporting you and I am sick of being a friend to someone who would do me like this.” Shaw said harshly.

Shaw turned her back and left out of the room and headed for the front door. Chance grabbed her basketball shorts and ran after Shaw. “Bruh, I said I am sorry. I messed up. I was drinking, I had a lot going on in my head, and my financial aid got canceled about a week ago. That’s why I hadn’t been in class when you would call. Come on man, we’re family.” Chance pleaded.

Shaw looked at Chance and felt sorry for her for about 5 seconds, “Chance, you are the reason things happen to you and I don’t feel sorry for you. Do you really think I care that because your financial aid was dropped that gives you the right to smash someone I was with? Get out of my apartment by the time I come home, or I will put you out myself. We’re done!” Shaw yelled as she slammed the door to her car and drove off.

Chance went back in the house shaking her head. She knew that she had just messed up with the only person that believed in her and now she was going to have to go home and live with her family again. Chance buried her head in her hands and began to cry. Shanice had gathered the rest of her items and walked into the living room. “Chance, are you over there crying? Stop being a punk.” Shanice said roughly. Chance lifted her head and yelled, “Girl, didn’t Shaw tell you to leave? Get up out of here… I don’t need anything from you.” Shanice rolled her eyes at Chance, “Whatever!! I didn’t want your lame ass anyway. I’m sick of y’all studs…I’m going back to men anyway! I don’t have time for that fake wood when I can get the real thing.
